Description

Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures independently using proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
Operate CT and X-ray equipment (GE, Phillips, or Quantum).
Coordinate patient flow and CT scanner activities.
Work within scope of practice including medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture.
May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed.
May have on-call responsibilities.
Epic experience required.

Education Requirements

Minimum: Associate degree in Allied Health
Major: Radiologic Technology

Required Licenses & Certifications

CPR Certification
ARRT RT (R) registry required
CT registry preferred
Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure required

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
CPR certification
ARRT (R) certification
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
X-Ray Technician experience
Experience with Epic system
