Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe and effective care delivery. You will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care.

• Number of beds: 12
• Patient ratio: 1:4-6
• EMR system: EDIS/Medhost
• Scrub color: Any solid color
• No call required
• No floating required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP

• 48-hour weekly guarantees are not approved
• Blocked scheduling may be requested
