Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location: Rogers, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
• Practice within the scope of nursing preparation and established nursing guidelines.
• Work variable shifts (4 days a week, 10 hours per day) with 36 guaranteed hours weekly.
• No weekend or on-call requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) RN experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
• Basic EKG or Arrhythmia-identification certification recommended
