Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Atmore, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Must have experience with X-Ray and CT imaging.
• Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• 1 year of experience required.
• First-time travelers are welcome.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in CT.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience in Radiology/CT within the last year.
• Experience with X-Ray (XRAY) imaging.

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of identity (Government issued photo ID).
• Proof of eligibility to work (I9, E-Verify).
• Background check: 7-year criminal history, sex offender registry, and other standard screenings.
• Education verification: Diploma or transcript of highest level of education.
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within one year of start.
• Physical exam within the last 12 months.
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year.
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer).
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination.
  • Varicella vaccination or history.
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season.
  • COVID-19 vaccine or medical/religious exemption.
• Facility-specific policies including hand hygiene and facial hair policy for mask fit.

Additional Requirements

• References: 3 professional references within the last 6 years.
• Completion of facility-specific forms and agreements within 7 days of start.
• Competency exams and orientation acknowledgments as applicable.

Work Environment & Notes

• Night shift hours.
• Travel contract position.
• Facility enforces strict infection control and safety policies.
