Job Opportunity: Case Manager (Registered Nurse)

Job Details

• Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts
• Shift Times: One of the following - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend or 4 weekend days in a 4-week schedule
• On-call: No
• Floating: Yes, clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Schedule Accommodation: No
• Locals Accepted: No, candidate’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks)
• Time Off Requests: Only 1 time off request per 13-week assignment of 5 days or less; no holiday time off for auto offer

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska
• Minimum 1 year of Case Management experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Acute Care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Requirements

• Must meet background check and verification requirements including:

  • Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
  • Education verification (nursing degree)
  • Drug screening (10 panel within 90 days of start)
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Immunizations and health documents including:

    • TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
    • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination (Alaska placements require positive titer and vaccine series)
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
    • Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
    • COVID vaccine or declination
  • Respirator clearance (RespSafety) for travel candidates starting on or after 2/5/2024
• Must complete required WorkRamp training modules annually, including:

  • Regulatory requirements
  • Specialty-specific modules as applicable
  • Basics of Trauma Informed Care (required at this facility)
• References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years

Notes

• Pending licenses are not accepted; Alaska RN license must be in hand for auto offer
• Candidates must be willing to float within their scope of practice
• Background checks and other compliance documents must be current and meet facility standards
• This is a travel contract position; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
