Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Job Description

• Work hours: 14:30 - 23:00, every other week (EOW), every other holiday (EOH)
• No on-call required
• Experience with GE CT scanners required (minimum 1 year hospital experience)
• Must be proficient with EPIC electronic health record system
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles if needed
• Prior travel experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience as a CT Technologist within the last year
• At least 1 year of experience with GE CT scanners, including GE Healthcare systems
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Completion of at least one travel assignment as a CT Technologist

Required Credentials & Compliance

• Professional resume/profile and at least two professional references
• Signed assignment agreement and onboarding documentation
• Core competencies completed within the last year (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.)
• Medical and health requirements including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season or mask requirement if declined
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Tdap vaccination within last 10 years
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start)
  • TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA) and chest X-ray if positive
  • Health statement or physical exam prior to assignment and updated annually
• Background checks including criminal, employment, and education verifications
• Drug screening (12-panel) within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
• Specialty exam demonstrating competency in CT technology (minimum 80% passing score)
• Color vision test completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
• Badge photo (headshot with white or blue background)

Additional Information

• Must complete onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
• Skills checklist and other competency validations required annually
• Compliance with all facility policies and procedures

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with hospital experience on GE scanners who are comfortable with travel assignments and flexible floating within a 40-mile radius.
