Job Opportunity: Case Manager
Location: Everett, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts
- Weekends: Required every other weekend
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
- First-time travelers: Accepted
- Acute Care Experience: Required
- Discharge Planning/Care Coordination Experience: Required
- Preference: Candidates with diverse case management experience in Medical-Surgical, Long Length of Stay (LLOS), and Emergency Department (ED) settings preferred
- Floating: Required to float between units within the hospital system
- Locals: Not accepted
- Pending License: Accepted
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2-week period

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of case management experience within the last year
- Experience in discharge planning
- Acute care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation (Heart&Stroke)
Additional Requirements
- Background checks and verifications as per state and facility regulations
- Physical exam within 1 year of start date
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- TB test or chest X-ray
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (vaccination or declination)
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Drug screening (10-panel) within 90 days of start
- Respirator fit testing (annual) for travel candidates
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years
Training and Competency
- Completion of required WorkRamp modules annually, including:
- Regulatory requirements
- Specialty-specific modules for case management and acute care roles
- Trauma-informed care basics (if applicable)
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
- EPIC training modules completion required
Notes
- Floating between units includes working across multiple campuses within a short distance
- Candidates must comply with all state-specific licensing and background check requirements
