Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Neuroscience Blended Unit PCU

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work on a neuroscience blended unit (Progressive Care Unit - PCU)
Strong neuroscience experience required
Locals allowed at the same rate
Every Other Weekend (EOW) schedule and 2 holidays off per contract as applicable

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

Fingerprinting and CPS (Central Registry) background checks required for certain pediatric, NICU, and behavioral health units; results may pend but proof of submission must be on file prior to start
No onsite certification renewals; renewals must be scheduled by the agency prior to contract start
Candidates must complete assigned learning modules during orientation week (approx. 6 hours)
Candidates should be prepared to bring a mask (cloth acceptable), non-wireless headphones, and a laptop or cell phone to orientation (notify if not available)

Prior Travel Experience

No explicit prior travel experience required

This position is ideal for RNs with strong neuroscience experience seeking a travel contract in a progressive care setting.
