Job Opportunity: MRI Tech

Location: Turnersville, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: 1 holiday required
• Floating: Potential to float to nearby campuses
• On-Call: None
• Equipment Used: GE and PACS
• Scrub Color: Black
• First Time Travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) (MR) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Education verification or official transcript
• Physical exam within 2 months of start
• Fit test (3M 1870+ model) within 12 months prior to start (must be completed before start)
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Tdap vaccine or titer
  • Negative TB test (Qgold or TSPOT within 90 days) or chest X-ray if positive
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (series, titer, or declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
• Drug screening: 10 panel (9 panel without THC acceptable) within 60 days prior to start
• COVID-19 vaccine no longer required prior to start; medical/religious exemptions accepted with masking requirements; booster preferred but not required
• Professional references (2 within last 2 years)
• Work history verification (minimum 1 year prior to start, per NJ state mandate)

Orientation & Training

• Completion of assigned education modules (~6 hours) prior to orientation
• Pass/fail dysrhythmia exam during orientation (one attempt only)
• Signed acknowledgements for safety manual and pass/fail testing

Additional Notes

• Potential to float to other nearby campuses
• No on-call duties
• Black scrub color required
• Equipment familiarity with GE and PACS systems preferred

This position is suitable for MRI Technologists with at least 1 year of experience, holding the appropriate NJ license and ARRT certifications, who are comfortable working night shifts and meeting the outlined compliance requirements. First-time travel healthcare workers are welcome to apply.
