Description

Registered Nurse – OB/GYN Emergency/Triage

Location: Jackson, Mississippi
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Description

Work in a 10-bed triage unit handling all female health emergency patients, including OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery (L&D), and some med-surg/female health issues.
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 3 patients.
12-hour shifts with rotation on weekends and holidays alongside permanent staff.
No on-call duties.
Day shifts.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in L&D/OBGYN (ER experience is a plus).
Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system (no training provided during orientation).
Certifications required:
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Additional Information

Must be willing to work within a 50-mile radius.
Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate.
