Job Opportunity: Case Manager
Location: Everett, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts
- Weekends: Required every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2-week period
- Floating: Yes, will float between multiple hospital areas including nearby campuses
- Locals Accepted: No
- Pending License Accepted: Yes
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 1 year of Case Management experience within the last year
- Acute Care experience
- Experience in Discharge Planning
Required Certifications and Licenses
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Work Environment
- Facility is a Level II Trauma Center
- Uses EPIC for charting
- Scrub color: Any except reddish orange
- Parking is facility-paid
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with all background checks and verifications including:
- Criminal background check within 90 days of start
- Education verification
- State-specific searches as required by Washington law
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health screenings required:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccination documentation preferred (declinations accepted)
- Fit mask test required for respirator use, updated annually
- Drug screening (9 panel) within 12 months of start
- References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years required
Training and Competency
- Completion of required competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
- Completion of facility and specialty-specific training modules annually via LMS platform
- Epic training modules required for electronic health record access
- Floating policy acknowledgment required
Notes
- First-time travelers accepted
- Must submit all required documentation and attestations prior to start
- Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities within a reasonable distance
- Compliance with all state and facility-specific regulatory requirements is mandatory
