Job Description

• Profession: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Unit: Outpatient Pavilion
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30)
• No weekends or holidays required
• Call: Late stay sign-up required
• Types of cases: Surgical services including General, Gynecology (GYN), Breast/Plastics, Urology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Eyes

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Average daily census: 35 patients
• Operating rooms available: 6
• Candidates must complete various facility-specific documents and training prior to start, including confidentiality agreements, code of ethics, infection control, and EPIC training modules (approx. 5-8 hours)
• Candidates must wear both agency and facility badges at all times during assignment
• Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands of the position required
