Job Description

• Weekend night shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Must have minimal recent time off (RTO)
• Work independently as the sole technologist on night shift covering Emergency Department (ED) and inpatient floors
• Responsible for patient transport and transfer from ED to radiology, including transferring patients from stretcher to imaging table (assistance available for larger patients)
• Use Siemens imaging equipment

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required

Required Certifications (as applicable)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Chemotherapy certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)

Required Licenses & Verifications

• State license verification (primary source online verification required)
• Education verification (highest level of education must be verified)
• Background checks including 7-year history, sex offender registry, and others as required
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 90 days of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Immunizations/vaccinations: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu seasonal vaccination (or approved exemption)

Additional Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Color blindness test required
• Competency exams as applicable to profession (minimum passing score 80%)
• Photo for badge required

Notes

• Must be able to work independently during night shifts
• Must be able to safely transfer patients, with assistance for larger patients
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not explicitly required

This position is ideal for a CT Technologist with solid experience, comfortable working independently on night shifts, and willing to travel for a 13-week contract.
