Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position requires working Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Experience needed in Emergency Department (ED), inpatient, and outpatient settings.
- Candidate will float between ED, main campus, outpatient, and nearby clinics.
- Experience with Epic and GE systems is required.
- Unit does not accept first-time travelers.
- Must work holidays if scheduled.
- This position is in an area commonly impacted by hurricanes (June 1 - Nov 30 hurricane season). Candidates may be assigned to an Emergency Team during storms with expectations to stay onsite or assist with relief efforts.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Louisiana
- CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel assignment as a CT Technologist
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Experience with GE Healthcare imaging systems
