Job Description

• ICU Registered Nurse position
• Shift: 4x12 hour shifts, 1900-0730
• Every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per contract)
• Holiday rotation as needed
• Float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care (IMC) as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
• Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year
• Successful completion of Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

• Criminal background check within 90 days including all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana)
• Annual physical exam confirming ability to perform work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; annual TB questionnaire required
• Up-to-date immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, and seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
• N95 Fit Test within 9 months of start and updated annually (not required for sterile processing techs)
• Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
• Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education, employment, license, and contact information
• Skills checklist and competency exams updated annually

Notes

• Cerner electronic health record system experience preferred
• Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate (pay details excluded)
• Orientation and facility-specific modules required prior to start
• Must be able to work night shifts and float as needed
• Background checks and attestations required prior to start and periodically thereafter
