Description

Registered Nurse - PCU (Johnson City, Tennessee)

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Schedule: 36 hours on / 36 hours off
Rotating weekends and holidays
No call required
Self-scheduling available
Charge nurse experience preferred
Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

The hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without penalty due to census changes
Additional shifts beyond the work commitment may be flexed based on hospital needs without penalty
Orientation and compliance documents must be completed by deadlines to start on a Sunday
Participation in clinical education for nursing students is part of the role

This position is ideal for RNs with at least 1 year of experience seeking a travel contract in a progressive care unit setting with a structured rotating schedule and opportunities to support nursing education.
