Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Boone, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7 AM - 7 PM), Saturday through Monday, some holidays

Job Description

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures.
• Experience with Orthopedics preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must reside more than 40 miles from the facility.
• Valid Driver’s License required for address verification prior to offer acceptance.
• Must provide proof of required documents including I9, government-issued photo ID, and background checks.
• Must complete facility-specific orientation and competency exams.
• Compliance with health and immunization requirements including:

  • Physical exam updated annually.
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year.
  • Required immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season.
  • Drug screening within 90 days prior to start, updated annually.

Compliance and Documentation

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and federal exclusions.
• Various certifications and competency verifications as applicable.
• Facility-specific documents such as badge photo and self-study orientation must be completed.
• Proof of 2 clinical references required.
• Employment application and skills checklist must be submitted and updated as required.

Notes

• This position requires working some holidays.
• Candidates must be prepared to comply with all facility and travel agency policies and documentation requirements.
