Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic

Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist position
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
  • No weekends or holidays required
  • All treatments and evaluations are 60 minutes each
  • Clinic team includes 4 Physical Therapists and 1 Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Opportunity to treat Pelvic Floor or Lymphedema patients if certified in those areas

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Wisconsin
  • Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
  • Lymphedema experience required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • 7-year background check required within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (QGold required; TSpot/PPD not accepted)
  • Immunization requirements including Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (titers or vaccinations)
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days before start (instant tests not accepted)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March)
  • Photo for badge (passport-style, shoulders up, no filters)
  • 2 professional references verified within 2 years of start

Certifications (as applicable)

  • ACLS (not required for CNAs)
  • PALS
  • NRP
  • NIH Stroke Certification (for applicable roles)

Notes

  • All treatments are scheduled for 60 minutes
  • No weekend or holiday shifts
  • Prior travel experience is not required for this position
