Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Telemetry Unit

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Available to work every other holiday, if needed
• Call-off Policy: Up to three shifts may be canceled by the client during the contract without penalty
• Special scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application

Unit and Work Environment

• Unit: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Unit (assignment given at time of offer)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:7
• Floating: Required to float within skillset
• Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
• Scrub color: Navy blue and white combinations
• Locals: RNs within 75 miles are not accepted for this travel role

Requirements/Qualifications

Licenses and Education

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience within the last year
• Acute care experience within the past 6 months

Additional Experience

• Acute care experience (general)
