Nurse Navigator - Travel/Contract Position
Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Schedule:
- Day shift, either 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts (Monday to Friday)
- No weekends or holidays
- 40 hours per week
Job Description
- Work setting primarily ambulatory clinic with a preference for cardiology specialty
- Responsibilities include patient assessments, interpretation of laboratory results, cardiovascular care, medication administration, and office duties such as chart preparation, disability forms, telephone triage, and follow-up calls
- Scrub color: Cranberry/Wine
- Flu vaccine required for all employees
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in District of Columbia
- Minimum 3 years of Nurse Navigator experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiology experience preferred
