Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Description

Responsible for managing Emergency Department (ED) and Inpatient Hold RN ratios and acuity during the night shift.

Required Qualifications

Licensure and Education

Valid RN license in Connecticut.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department (ED) within the last year.
Experience in an inpatient setting.

Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course).
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
