Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Unit Description

Progressive Critical Care Unit caring for medically delicate and surgically complex adult patients.
Patient conditions include respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications.
Average patient load: 3 high acuity patients.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York.
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
ACLS certification.
Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Additional Information

Navy blue scrubs are required.
Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission.
Local candidates from certain counties are not eligible as of 1/11/2024.
