Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse

Location: Lubbock, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Float: No floating between units
On-call: Not required
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 3 patients
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center
Uniform: Solid navy blue scrubs for licensed nursing personnel; print tops not allowed except in specific pediatric and women’s services units
Parking: Free in unrestricted employee/visitor surface lots

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
NIH Stroke Certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
