Schedule
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Friday through Sunday
- Occasional floating to other facilities may be required
Job Description
- Must be able to perform CT and X-Ray procedures
- Required to start approximately 8-9 IVs per day
- Outpatient (Adult & Pediatric) and Emergency Department experience required
- Experience with PACS, portable imaging, Siemens equipment required; Samsung X-Ray preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Experience with infants and pediatrics preferred
Imaging Procedures
- X-Ray: Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Lower and Upper Extremities
- CT: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, CT Angiographies (CTAs), Multiplanar Reconstruction
- Emergency Department CT and X-Ray Exams: Outpatient CT and X-Ray, Cardiac CT (Pulmonary Vein CT, Cardiac Calcium Scores, Perfusion studies)
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification in CT
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- Experience in an Outpatient setting, including Adult and Pediatric patients
- Emergency Department experience
- X-Ray Technician experience
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (for badge issuance)
- Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, including aliases, criminal, sex offender, federal court, education verification, and international searches if applicable
- Education verification by a third party, including diploma/transcript for highest education; foreign equivalency evaluation if education obtained outside the U.S.
- Employment application/resume with 7-year work history
- Verification of all employment within last 5 years through third party
- Two supervisory references from clinical assignments within last 24 months (at least one within 12 months)
- Facility-specific documents including health history form, affiliate packet, floating policy, contractor equipment acknowledgement, dress code review, and job description acknowledgment
- Badge photo meeting strict facility requirements (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire, forward-facing pose)
Certifications & Exams
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC approved
- ARRT CT and Radiography certification
- EPIC test (pass required; 2 attempts allowed, additional attempts may be granted onsite)
- Pass/fail testing for Dysrhythmia/EKG (if applicable)
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam (must score 80% or higher)
- Color vision test (90% or higher required)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (pass/fail, 2 attempts max, remediation required after first failure)
- Other certifications as applicable per specialty and unit
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start (includes THC, opiates, methadone, cocaine, PCP, amphetamines, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, oxycodone, propoxyphene)
- Fit mask test completed within current calendar year and updated annually (approved N95 respirators only)
- Proof of adult Tdap vaccine
- Negative TB test (Qgold/TSPOT) within 6 months or chest X-ray if positive history
- TB questionnaire within 30 days of start and updated annually
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart; medical exemptions considered with documentation
- Hepatitis B: Titer or declination required; booster series required if non-reactive/low titer
- Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart; medical exemptions considered with documentation
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually
Additional Requirements
- Physical exam (if applicable)
- Fingerprinting required only for Home Health and Long-Term Care positions (not applicable here)
- NURSYS verification (if applicable)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB), NIH Stroke Certification, CPI, TNCC, EFM certifications as applicable per unit (verify with program management)
- Facility-specific credential number verification may be required if licensure or certification does not display credential number

- Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Compliance deadlines are strict; all required documents must be submitted timely for clearance
- Candidate may be asked to float to other facilities occasionally
- First-time travelers are welcome; prior travel experience is not required
