Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Evening shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Friday through Sunday)
- Total 36 hours per week
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC certified
- ARRT CT certification required
- Experience working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
Required Certifications & Licenses
- State license as applicable for Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) – primary source verification required within 30 days of start
- Education Verification: High School Diploma or GED plus graduation from a Radiology, Imaging, or related educational program
- National Tech Certification: ARRT (CT) required
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required
- Pass/Fail Testing (EPIC and/or Dysrhythmia/EKG) may be required depending on unit
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and contrast media administration required
- Experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred
- Ability to work flexible scheduling with strict adherence to zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card for badge issuance
- Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
- Education verification by a third party, including foreign equivalency evaluation if education was obtained outside the U.S.
- Employment application/resume with 7-year work history
- Verification of all employment within the last 5 years through a third party
- Two supervisory references from clinical assignments within the last 24 months
- Facility-specific documents including health history form, dress code acknowledgment, floating policy, contractor equipment acknowledgment, and job description review
- Badge photo meeting strict facility requirements (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire, forward-facing)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start
- Fit mask test (N95 respirator) completed within current calendar year and updated annually (exceptions apply)
- Proof of adult Tdap vaccine
- Negative TB test (Qgold/TSPOT) within 6 months or chest X-ray if positive history
- TB questionnaire within 30 days of start and updated annually
- Immunization or positive titer proof for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (titer or declination with boosters)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and aware of the facility’s zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Compliance documents must be completed by 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date
- Facility requires strict adherence to all credentialing, background, and health requirements for clearance
- Candidates will receive onboarding instructions including Workday login and multi-factor authentication setup two weeks prior to start
