Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Dayshift (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

3 travel nurses needed for day shift
Patient ratios: 1:5 or 1:6
Nurses will float between Medical-Surgical and Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
Shift schedule includes weekdays, every other weekend, float, and holidays as required
Facility enforces a 50-mile radius restriction for candidates
First-time travelers are accepted
No license or background issues will be accepted

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
