Night shift
3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
Total 36 hours per week

Unit Description

Cardiac Specialty Unit

Patient Ratio

Approximately 1:7-8
May use team nursing model with ratios greater than 8

Weekend Requirement

Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month

Job Responsibilities

Float required (work across different areas as needed)
No on-call duties

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
