Work Schedule
- Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Option 1: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Option 2: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (availability)
Caseload
- Average 12 patient visits per day
- 5 beds
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal and High Risk patients
- ARDMS certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Charting Systems
- Experience with Viewpoint and Epic preferred
Equipment Experience
- Familiarity with GE ultrasound equipment
Required Documentation & Compliance
- I9 or Attestation
- Valid Driver’s License/State ID (clear copies front and back)
- E-Verify or Attestation
- Proof of legal name change if applicable
- 7-year background check including:
- SSN Trace
- Colorado Statewide CBI
- Education verification (3rd party or transcript/diploma)
- Sex Offender Search
- OFAC Sanctions List Search
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 60 days of start
- Education verification with accredited institution confirmation
- Physical exam within 1 year, signed by MD, DO, NP, or PA (not Chiropractor)
- Fit mask test within 12 months, updated annually (specific 3M masks required)
- Immunizations and titers:
- TDAP within 10 years or signed declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, with annual updates if positive
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
- Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination series or declination
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- COVID vaccine proof or signed declination (acceptable vaccines: AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna)
- Drug testing within 30 days of start, updated annually
- Ishihara color blindness exam required (online testing not accepted for new candidates)
- Annual competency exams including medication/pharmacology, dysrhythmia/EKG, OSHA, and core parts I-III
- UCHealth CO CAPS Release Authorization annually (5 years of address history required)
- References: 2 from last 2 years, including one from last year, from Charge RN, Manager, or Supervisor
- Employment history verification for last 3 years with explanations for gaps over 30 days
Additional Notes
- No prior travel experience required
- No weekend or on-call shifts
- Candidate must confirm renewal plans for certifications expiring within 90 days of start to avoid clearance issues
- Facility-specific new employee orientation modules must be completed within first two weeks of assignment
