Description

CT Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36


Job Summary

  • Perform diagnostic CT exams under general supervision following established policies and procedures.
  • Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
  • Interview patients to obtain and update medical history; assess risk factors such as medications, pregnancy, and psychological indicators.
  • Explain procedures, including side effects, risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow-up to patients.
  • Set up imaging equipment and acquire images as per physician’s script.
  • Review images, make initial observations, document exceptions, and communicate findings to radiologists.
  • Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as appropriate.
  • Provide physician-prescribed post-care instructions to patients.
  • Participate in radiology process improvement activities (quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, patient satisfaction).
  • Provide imaging education to residents, student technologists, and new employees.
  • Able to take call/standby as required.
  • May perform Radiologic Technologist duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Wyoming
  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Radiology Technologist experience
