Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Afternoons
Hours per Day: 8
Job Description
Operating Room Nurses are responsible for patient care throughout surgical or medical procedures. They ensure patients are prepared for surgery and assist with recovery by providing information on procedure outcomes or potential outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the Operating Room (OR)
- Required certifications (specific certifications not listed, but must be current or active copies)
- CVOR experience preferred
- Valid RN license for Oklahoma
Additional Information
- No special scheduling requirements
- Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
- On-call pay is provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum of 1 hour
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
- Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends
