CT Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Wichita Falls, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Evening (5 days per week, 8 hours per day, 14:30 - 23:00)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

• Must start on 5/18
• Requires experience with CT and diagnostic X-ray
• Candidates with experience in only one modality may be considered (rate may vary)
• Epic system experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)

Required Documents and Compliance

• Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• I9 or Attestation
• E-Verify or Attestation
• Background check within 1 year of start, including SS Trace, County searches (7 years), Nationwide, Sex Offender; updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (2-step PPD or equivalent; chest X-ray if positive PPD)
• Immunizations or positive titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination accepted)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines, positive titer, or history of chickenpox)
• TDAP vaccine within 10 years of start
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (instant acceptable); plan for completion within 72 hours of contract signing
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/1 - 5/31); medical/religious exemptions subject to facility review
• COVID vaccination documentation required
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted) may be required depending on facility

Additional Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific documents and acknowledgments prior to start (e.g., parking policy, confidentiality, code of conduct, orientation)
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
• References: 2 references within 3 years of start
• Resume or employment application required
• Skills checklist updated annually

Notes

• This is a travel/contract position requiring flexibility and readiness to comply with all facility and regulatory requirements.
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not strictly required.
• Epic system experience is a plus but not mandatory.
