Medical Surgical - Neuro Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Bristol, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 36 hours per week (36/36 schedule)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Floating to other units as needed
- Every other weekend work required
- No on-call duties
- Participation in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care
- General orientation includes 16 hours of nonbillable training, starting on Sundays (online CBLs)
- Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without penalty due to census changes
- Additional overtime shifts may be flexed based on hospital census without penalty
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of neurology nursing experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
