Description

Job Opportunity: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Saratoga Springs, New York
Contract Length: 20 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts of 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work in the Emergency Department (ED) with a requirement to float as needed based on skillset and manager discretion.
Facility allows up to 3 call-offs per contract.
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
Must be able to read cardiac rhythms and pass a hospital proctored rhythm identification test with >80% accuracy overall and 100% accuracy on critical rhythms.
Experience with EPIC charting and Omnicell medication system required.
Telemetry skills required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York.
Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with ED experience within the last year.
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
PALS certification issued by American Heart Association.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
