Description
Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours per week)
- On-call every other weekend and rotating call Monday through Friday
- On-call one holiday if it falls within contracted dates
Job Description
- Must have experience in both vascular and neuro interventional cases; neuro experience is imperative
- Use of EPIC, Synapse, and Startrack systems (training provided; prior knowledge not required)
Required Qualifications
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid license/certification verification relevant to Interventional Radiology Technician role
- Fit test clearance
- Completion of respirator evaluation with physician signature
- Proof of required vaccinations or valid exemptions, including:
- COVID-19 (including booster by Sept 2025)
- MMR
- Hepatitis B (vaccination series required; titers not accepted)
- Influenza (seasonal vaccine required)
- Varicella
- Tdap (declinations accepted if no pediatric interaction)
- Negative 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test with chest x-ray if positive (per state requirements)
- Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work (within last year)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen (no THC) completed within 30 days of start
- Completion of required professional and compliance forms, including code of conduct, confidentiality agreements, integrity and audit services, skills checklist, conflict of interest disclosure, and system access forms
- Background checks including federal, nationwide, county criminal (last 7 years), SSN verification, EPLS, OIG/GSA exclusions, NSO, and OFAC sanctions screening—all dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification (highest level of academic education)
- CORE exam within the last year
Experience Requirements
- Experience in both vascular and neuro interventional radiology cases is mandatory
- Neuro interventional experience is critical
Additional Information
- All onboarding documentation and verifications must be uploaded and approved prior to start date
- Agency will provide a skills checklist for clinical contractors
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
