Case Manager (Registered Nurse) - Travel/Contract
Location: Everett, Washington
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
Hours Guaranteed: 72 hours per 2-week period
Weekends: Required every other weekend
Start Date: ASAP
Locals Accepted: No
Floating: Required to float between units including multiple campuses within close proximity
Job Requirements
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of case management experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Experience in discharge planning
- Acute care experience

- Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center
- Total Staffed Beds: 571 across campuses
- Charting System: EPIC
- Scrub Color: Any except reddish orange
- Parking: Facility paid
Additional Requirements and Notes
- Floating Policy: Must acknowledge and comply with floating to other facilities within reasonable distance
- Background Checks: Includes SSN trace, death master index, nationwide and county checks, sex offender registry, education verification, and others as applicable
- Education Verification: Required for all candidates; international education requires diploma/transcript or CES report
- WorkRamp Modules: Mandatory completion of system, specialty, and regional training modules prior to start and annually thereafter
- Epic Training: Required; candidates must complete assigned EPIC modules and provide transcripts
- Competency Exams: Medication and specialty-specific competency exams required as applicable
- Skills Checklist: Annual update required for applicable units
- References and Work History: Must align with specialty and cover required timeframes; exceptions require work history verification
- Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required
Summary
This is a travel contract position for a Registered Nurse Case Manager with at least 1 year of acute care experience and discharge planning/care coordination skills. The role requires floating between hospital units and working every other weekend on a 4x10 day shift schedule. Candidates must hold a valid RN license and current BLS certification. Comprehensive background checks, immunizations, health screenings, and mandatory training modules are required prior to start. Locals are not accepted for this position.
