Registered Nurse - PICU (Indianapolis, Indiana)

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing position.
First-time travel nurses accepted.
Locals are not accepted for this travel role.
Shift options include 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts plus holidays.
Note: Effective 11/30/2024, Indiana RNs are generally not allowed to work at this facility except for Perioperative/OR, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers (Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS). PICU is not listed as exempt, so this may affect eligibility.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana.
Minimum 1 year of recent Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current certifications issued by the American Heart Association:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
