Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Weekend coverage every other weekend
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity

Job Description

Clinical Nurse Coordinator role in outpatient oncology infusion center
Required skills: Biotherapy, Chemotherapy, IV Therapy/Infusions, Medication Administration, Oncologic Emergencies, IV push narcotic agents, Isolation and Neutropenic Precautions, Symptom management
Preferred skills: Phlebotomy, Previous Charge Experience
Work settings required: Infusion Center, Outpatient oncology
Work settings preferred: Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), Inpatient oncology

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in District of Columbia
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in an outpatient setting with infusion experience
Completion of at least one prior travel nursing assignment
Certifications required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Chemotherapy certification from Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC)

Additional Notes

Must complete facility-specific orientation modules prior to start
Photo for badge required (clear, well-lit, no glare, solid background)
Required to have current and valid driver's license if driving is an essential job function
Must comply with all facility health and safety policies, including annual safety manual acknowledgment
Weekend coverage every other weekend is required
