CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Department: Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography)
• Shifts: Nights (3 shifts per week: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Hours per shift: 12 hours
• Total hours per week: 36
• Schedule: No self-scheduling; shifts are grouped together
• Weekend requirement: Yes
• Holiday requirement: No
• Call or standby: No
• Scrubs: Provided (gray scrubs)

Job Duties & Equipment

• Perform basic CT scans: Head, Chest, Abdomen, Extremities
• Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Perfusion imaging
• Use Toshiba and Canon CT scanners (6 scanners in the department)
• Average scans per day: ~20
• Use Fuji PACS and EPIC EMR systems
• Rarely required to start IVs
• No floating to other areas; work limited to CT scanners only
• Radiologist available in-house
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) support

Required Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• BLS Certification
• Experience with Toshiba and Canon CT scanners
• Valid driver’s license with address outside 50 miles from facility

Additional Notes

• Previous permanent candidates must have been off for 2 years before reapplying
• Previous travelers must have been off for 2 years after completing a full year at this facility
• Only 2 candidates can be submitted per opening; travel teams must be submitted together
• Individual unit requirements apply as per internal guidelines
