NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Wisconsin, Madison

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (NICU)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts, both Day (7:00am–7:30pm) and Night (7:00pm–7:30am)
Schedule: Monday through Friday with 2-3 weekends required per 6-week scheduling period
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Manage post-operative patients, gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes), tracheostomy and ventilator care.
Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation required.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience
NICU experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Experience with gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes)
Experience managing tracheostomy and ventilator care
Experience with invasive ventilation modes
Experience with noninvasive ventilation modes
