Description

Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Night Shift)

Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Summary

Provide care to patients with critical or life-threatening illnesses on telemetry units.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status.
Administer prescribed cardiac medications and telemetry-approved drips.
Recognize and assist patients in shock or with life-threatening complications.
Assist with emergency and elective cardioversions and temporary pacemaker insertions.
Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, collaborating on an interdisciplinary level.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience within the last year
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
