Job Opportunity: Infusion Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Job Description

• Provide ambulatory infusion nursing care in an outpatient setting, specifically administering chemotherapy to 6-8 patients daily.
• Experience limited to inpatient infusion is not suitable due to differences in patient acuity and workflow.
• Work schedule: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
• Weekend work is not required.
• No on-call duties.
• No floating outside of scope of practice.
• Block scheduling accommodations are not offered.
• Guaranteed hours.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut.
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience, including infusion experience, with oncology experience within the last year.
• Experience in an outpatient setting.
• Chemotherapy certification required (ONS or ONCC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
