Description
CT Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Dublin, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
- Friday: 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Daily Caseload: Approximately 40 patients
- Patient Type: Adult and pediatric outpatient imaging
- Equipment: Siemens CT Scanner
- Electronic Documentation System: EPIC
- Dress Code: Pewter gray scrubs
- First-time travelers: Not accepted
- Time Off: One pre-approved time off per contract

- Various CT Procedures including Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Carotid, Trauma Head, Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal Trauma
Required Certifications & Licenses
- ARRT CT Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA Instructor/Provider or RQI accepted)
- Ohio State Licensure for CT Technologists
Required Background & Compliance Checks
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including SS Trace, counties lived/worked, nationwide check, sex offender registry, and MVR if driving is required
- FBI and BCI fingerprinting with specific Ohio code (3701.881) required within 1 year of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monthly monitoring
- Education accreditation verification for all candidates
- Pending background check attestation allowed if fingerprint results are pending
- Subcontractors must complete background acknowledgement form prior to start
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
- Tdap vaccine (adult dose after age 11/12) required; exemptions not allowed for those working with infants or pregnant patients
- Negative TB test (PPD, QGold, or TSPOT) within 1 year or chest x-ray if positive
- TB questionnaire required in lieu of annual TB test renewal
- 2 MMR vaccines or positive titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, and Rubella; boosters required if low titer and no proof of vaccines
- Hepatitis B titer or 3-vaccine series (signed declination acceptable)
- 2 Varicella vaccines or positive titer unless medically exempted (medical exemption must be documented and signed)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (no pending drug screens allowed)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31); mask required if declining
- COVID-19 vaccination not required but strongly recommended
Required Documentation & Other Requirements
- 2 professional references required; at least one must be from a manager/director or formal leadership (charge RN acceptable as second reference)
- Employment application required for all candidates, including education details for nursing candidates
- Skills checklist required
- Unit-specific competency exams required
- Annual acknowledgment of dress code and hand hygiene policy
- Annual orientation safety manual acknowledgment
- Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate required prior to start and updated annually
- Ethics and compliance policies must be reviewed and signed annually
- State license verification required within 30 days of start
Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, with experience within the last year
- ARRT CT Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Proficiency in 3D Rendering & Multiplanar Reconstruction
- Experience performing various CT procedures including Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Carotid, Trauma Head, Cervical, Lumbar, and Musculoskeletal Trauma
- Experience with EPIC electronic documentation system
Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (CT Technology)
- Prior travel experience: Not accepted (first-timers not accepted)
Additional Notes
- Candidates must complete all credentialing and background checks prior to start
- Fingerprinting results and background checks are closely monitored and must meet facility-specific codes and standards
- Candidates with breaks in service over 90 days may require new fingerprinting and background checks
- Facility uses EPIC for electronic documentation; proficiency expected
This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with outpatient imaging skills, who are comfortable working weekend shifts and managing a high patient volume in a travel/contract role.
