Description

Job Opportunity: Critical Care Float Pool Nurse

Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide primary care for ER, ICU, and PACU patients.
May float to other nursing units to assist (not as a primary nurse).
Duties include expediting on other floors, patient sitting, transport assistance, telemetry monitoring.
Participate as a member of the rapid response and code blue teams as needed.
Work 12-hour shifts during evenings and nights, totaling 72-80 hours per two weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience within the last year
Emergency Department (ED) experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
