Work Schedule

• Night shift, 3 shifts per week
• Shift hours: 18:00 to 6:30 (12-hour shifts)
• 2 call shifts per month (days or nights depending on unit needs)
• Patient ratio: 1:6

Unit / Specialty

• Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele)
• Experience with Cardiac Telemetry preferred

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification
• PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Systems & Equipment

• Medication system: Pyxis
• Documentation system: Amrita

Additional Requirements

• Unexpired government-issued photo ID
• Background checks including SS Trace, County searches (last 7 years), Nationwide, Sex Offender Registry, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG prior to start
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug screening within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - Apr 30); no declinations or religious exemptions accepted except documented severe allergy
• Colorado CAPS Release Authorization form (state-mandated background check)
• Professional references: 2 within last 3 years
• Skills checklist verification
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgment (Joint Commission training)
• National certification verification as applicable
