Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray (Afternoons)

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic imaging using X-Ray equipment.
• Average of 100 patient scans per day across all technologists.
• Equipment used includes:

  • Phillips Diagnostic (required)
  • Carestream portables (preferred)
  • Hologic breast machine (OR equipment)
  • Phillips portable (OR equipment)
  • Siemens Cysto (highly preferred)
  • GE OEC C-arm (required)
  • Toshiba Fluoro equipment (required fluoro experience)
• Proficient Operating Room experience required.
• Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed.
• Overtime and call back pay multipliers apply (details not included here).

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required).
• Minimum 24 months of X-Ray experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Fluoro experience (required).
• Proficiency with GE OEC C-arm and Phillips Diagnostic equipment.
• Operating Room experience (required).
• Active Iowa radiology license highly preferred; non-licensed candidates may apply but must obtain license upon acceptance.
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Skills checklist specific to X-Ray discipline (required).
• Work history/resume must document at least 24 months of current X-Ray experience.
• Professional references from within the last 24 months preferred.

• Orientation dates available.
• Must be willing to work within a 50-mile radius.
• Employee separation policy restricts certain past employees from working travel contracts in this market.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
• Call back and on-call pay available (details excluded).
• No prior travel experience required.
