Description
Cardiovascular Technician (Temporary)
Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 10
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide services in the Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory including:
- Cardiac catheterization
- Angiography
- Peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement
- Venography
- Cardiac pacemaker insertions
- Various non-vascular interventional procedures
- Work involves both inpatient and one-day outpatient services
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of catheterization experience
- ARRT certification accepted; RCIS certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac experience
- Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
Additional Information
- Facility uses Cerner EMR system
- Position is based in a tertiary teaching hospital with 310 acute care beds
