Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Thursday, 4x10-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
Job Description
- Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting with a patient ratio of 3:1
- On-call requirement: 5 to 9 days per month, including at least one weekend per month
- Must respond within 30 minutes to hospital for STEMI call
- Must be willing to float to an additional nearby facility as needed
- Scrubs provided
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Minimum of 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with patient monitoring in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Familiarity with STEMI protocols and procedures
- Experience with high-risk cardiac equipment such as Impella, IABP, and Anari
Additional Information
- This position requires flexibility for on-call duties and floating between locations
- The role involves working with critical cardiac patients and advanced cardiac support devices
