Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM (4 shifts of 10 hours each)
• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Caseload: Approximately 100 patients per day including inpatient, outpatient, neuro, full body, cancer, stroke, lung screening
• Equipment: 4 scanners on site, including GEEpic system
• Work Setting Experience Required: Inpatient, Emergency Room, Community Hospital, Adult ICU
• Floating: May float within scope and to sister facilities as needed
• Weekend Requirement: Work weekends as needed
• On-call: Elective only
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Locals Accepted: Yes
• Return to Office Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Experience with PACS
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Requirements & Notes

• Preorientation Modules: Must be completed within 72 hours of receiving login; modules take 3-9 hours depending on specialty
• Photo for Badge: Passport-style headshot required within 48 hours of signing contract
• References: Not required for client clearance and will not delay start
• Skills Checklist: Required annually
• Background Check Notes: Felony charges require approval; petty misdemeanors, traffic violations, and DUIs generally approved
• Drug Testing: Not required for client clearance but must be within 1 year if done
• Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty; on-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum hours

This position is suitable for first-time travel CT Techs.
