Description

Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Shift: 10-hour Day shifts, with on-call duties
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Description

Work in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting with no block scheduling.
Must have experience both scrubbing and circulating in the CVOR.
Prior experience working specifically in a CVOR is required.
Floating is required; travelers are prioritized for floating and may be assigned to other nearby campuses within a 50-mile radius.
Electronic Medical Record system used: Epic.
The work culture emphasizes integration of travelers as core staff members.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
Minimum of 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, including experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Experience both scrubbing and circulating in the CVOR.
