Description

Job Opportunity: Cardiac Rehab Nurse (Registered Nurse)

Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (2 shifts of 12 hours each, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 24

Job Description

Provide nursing care in outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehab gym focusing on exercise and case management.
Support inpatient cardiac rehab including assisted ambulation and patient education.
Work with a staffing ratio of 2 staff members to 1 patient at a time.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Minimum of 1 year of rehabilitation experience, with rehabilitation experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
